Family & Friends Virtual Cheese & Wine Tasting Box for April (22nd)
Live from the beautiful new winery at Sandridge Barton, join Greg Parsons, owner of Sharpham Cheese and Tom Wedgery, winemaker and expert from Sharpham Wine for the last of this season’s online events. To celebrate the better weather we have a summer theme this time and we have added some of the region’s best cider and beer to exercise our palates.
Exclusively, you will be the first to try our new pickles and chutneys as developed with Jay Allen from Hillside Kitchen and we are hoping that Jay will join us as our guest.
We have promised a ‘humdinger’ of an event to say farewell to isolation and long dark evenings, but places are limited so please book soon to avoid disappointment!
Join us live on Zoom (from Sandridge Barton) on 22nd April at 7.00pm.
Buy our Tasting Box and taste along on the night (enough for at least 4 people) (with plenty left for lunch for all the family!)
Your delivery will arrive a day or two before the event and we’ll send you a Zoom link by separate email.
The April tasting box includes: Cheeses from Sharpham will be Rustic ‘three ways’ (pieces of Original, Chive & Garlic and Dulse & Sea Lettuce) and Sharpham Brie, plus a wedge of Quickes Mature Cheddar. For drinks, Tom has selected Sharpham Estate Selection and Pinot Rose, plus Thrasher cider from Hunts and the glorious Bays Gold ale. For company you will be the first to try two jars of our new chutneys and we’ll throw in a packet of Peters Yard crackers for good measure.
So, there will be about at least 1.2kg of cheese and if you were to buy items individually the package would cost you over £78, plus you get Tom and I thrown in for free and some would say we’re priceless!
