Is your cheese suitable for vegetarians?

Yes, we use vegetarian rennet in the making of all our Sharpham cheese.

Is all your cheese pasteurised?

Yes, all our artisan cheese is pasteurised.

Will My cheese with use-by items last till Christmas?

Our soft cheeses have a use-by date of 7 days from the date of dispatch. Our semi-hard cheeses have a Best before date of 14 days.

Do you have special Christmas hampers?

Yes, we have curated two special hampers to be enjoyed over the festive season.

Sharpham Devon Cheese & Wine Feast and the Sharpham Devon Festive Celebration Box

Though any of our hampers would make a lovely gift.

How long will my cheese last?

Soft cheeses have a use-by date of 7 days, Semi hard cheeses have a Best before of 14 days, we advise consuming all of these within the dates supplied to ensure they taste at their very best!

Do you have cheese vouchers to buy online?

Yes, we have a variety of monetary vouchers and a cheese subscription box that you can use to buy products online. You can get them delivered directly to a recipient or email if you are short on time. Look at vouchers here.

Can I order a cheese subscription as a gift?

Yes, we have a voucher that you can purchase and gift to the recipient. They can then call up with their details to activate the subscription box.

Do you have any recommended cheese pairings?

Yes, we have a variety of pairings from chutney to drinks. On each of the cheese pages, you can see which pairings we think go the best.

How should I store my cheeses?

Unpack your order and make sure all cheeses are stored in the refrigerator, below 8°C.

Cheeses that have been vat packed are better taken out of their wrap and paper wrapped. All our soft cheese is wrapped in breathable paper.

Christmas Deliveries

What’s the deadline for placing a Christmas order?

We advise placing your order as soon as possible, to ensure you get the delivery date of your choice. Dates closer to Christmas book up fast. Our last order date is Tuesday 19th December.

Why can’t I place an order for delivery on a Monday?

We dispatch our orders Monday to Thursday, so your cheese isn’t left in a warehouse over the weekend.

Can I order my cheese to be delivered on a Saturday?

Yes, we offer a Saturday delivery for £10.00.

When will my Christmas order be delivered?

This is up to you; we will deliver it on your chosen delivery date. Just select the preferred date at the checkout. You are selecting the date your cheese arrives with you.

What’s the delivery fee for a Christmas order?

Orders over £60 are free, any orders under £60 are charged £7.00 for Tuesday to Friday delivery or £10 for Saturday delivery.

Am I able to make any amendments to an order?

Please try and check your order before placing it, but if you do need to amend it, please email info@sharphamcheese.co.uk  with your order number and details to change and we can do this for you.

What’s the deadline for placing a Christmas Order?

To ensure your order is in the system and you get the best delivery date desired then place this ASAP, but our last order date is Tuesday 19th December.

When is the latest my Christmas order be delivered?

The last delivery date will be Thursday 21st December, please select the date you prefer at checkout when ordering.

Can I place multiple orders to different addresses?

For the system to have the right address and contact details, you will need to place separate orders each time. This way you can add a gift message for each of the deliveries.

Will you deliver cheese in between Christmas and New Year?

If you would like cheese to be delivered on either the 28th or 29th of December, to be enjoyed at New Year, then place your order early and select either the 28th or 29th of December for delivery. The earlier you place the order, the better.

Can I write a gift message? Yes, at the checkout you can write a gift note, (150 maximum characters) we will then handwrite this on a Sharpham Note card and add it to your order. This can be on any order, not just hampers.

What do I do with all the packaging?

All our packaging is recyclable, and the ice packs you can reuse. Please see here for more information on our packaging.

Will I receive a receipt? 

A receipt will be emailed to you and there will be a packing slip in the box.
