Visit Sharpham

We welcome visitors to Sharpham and we’ve got lots to do while you are here. We share our beautiful site next to the River Dart with Sharpham Vineyard, and our two companies work closely together to make your visit special.

We’re lucky to be situated in the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and you can make the most of our fabulous setting with beautiful walks on the Estate and down to the river. Well behaved dogs are also very welcome to come along.

The Cellar Door Kitchen is our wonderful alfresco café. Open daily during spring, summer and autumn from 11am for coffee, with lunch served from noon - 3.30pm. Enjoy a regularly changing menu which uses a variety of local and seasonal ingredients. To book please call 01803 732178 or email

The Cellar Door has now closed for the season but the shop, Sharpham walks and cheesemaking viewing windows are still open.

You can sample the range of Sharpham Cheeses with a Cheese Tasting flight. Choose three of our cheeses accompanied by chutney and savoury biscuits.

You can also walk the vines and sample Sharpham Wine. For the full range of guided and self-guided wine walks and tastings please visit Booking ahead is essential. (Suspended during lockdown)

Our expert cheesemaking team at Sharpham Dairy makes cheese every weekday morning and you can watch the process through our large windows which are flanked by interpretation boards which explain what’s happening.

We have a small on-site shop where you can buy Sharpham Cheese and Sharpham Wine, plus chutneys, biscuits, aprons, cool bags and more. Take away some Sharpham to enjoy at home.
