PERSONALISED ENGRAVING:
Custom engraving makes your cheeseboard truly one-of-a-kind. Whether it’s a name, date, or special message, your design will be carefully etched into the wood, creating a meaningful and lasting impression. The engraving space is 10cm x 10cm, allowing for a variety of personalization options.

Crafted with care and a commitment to sustainability, Benjamin Wood Handcrafted Cheeseboards transform reclaimed timber into functional works of art. Each board begins its journey at Grantland Timber, where Peter works closely with Jerry to select high-quality wood that might otherwise go to waste. By shaping these irregular planks into beautiful cheese, charcuterie, and serving boards, they give new life to nature’s forgotten pieces.
Selecting wood from locally managed woodland using only storm-felled or carefully managed forestry, the boards are made from 100% sustainable ash sourced from within Devon.
No two cheeseboards are ever the same. While there are two core shapes designed to maximize the usable timber, every board is individually cut, shaped, and sanded by hand. The process starts with rough-sawn planks, carefully divided to make the best use of their natural character. The edges are gently rounded before being meticulously sanded to achieve a smooth, tactile finish.
Each board is sealed with natural, pure tung oil to enhance the wood’s beauty and durability. Free from solvents and toxins, this food-safe finish provides a protective, long-lasting coating that allows the wood’s rich grain and unique markings to shine.
