Sharpham Rustic
with Chives & Garlic
Handmade with Jersey Cow's milk
Urban myths speak of the day when the cows ate wild garlic, conceiving the idea of this Sharpham favourite.
However it came about, the richness of the cheese complements the savoury herbs and results in a scrumptious guest for any cheese board or a fantastic melted topping for bread,
pasta or meats. It works well with a glass of Sharpham Pinot Noir, but we favour a crisp and fruity West Country cider!

Sharpham Rustic Chive & Garlic FAQs
Is Sharpham Rustic Chive & Garlic suitable for Vegeterians?
Yes, Sharpham Rustic Chive & Garlic is made using a vegetarian rennet.
What sort of texture and taste does Sharpham Rustic have?
Sharpham Rustic Chive & Garlic is crumbly and lactic.
Why is the inside of the cheese so yellow?
Sharpham cheese is made from grass-grazed Jersey cows' milk, so the milk is yellow and golden, resulting in a buttercup-yellow hue in the paste.
What is the best way to serve Sharpham Rustic Chive & Garlic?
Let it sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes so the centre softens and the flavours open up. If you are not planning on eating the whole cheese, consider portioning it before bringing it to room temperature
Is the rind edible?
Yes — the bloomy white rind is completely edible and adds depth and earthiness to the flavour.
