Sharpham Cremet

Sharpham Cremet is a decadent soft mould-ripened goat’s milk cheese. Added double cow’s cream creates a mousse-like texture, developing rich earthiness with age.
Officially launched in 2013 and created from Breton cheesemakers and Debbie Mumford’s imagination, Cremet is a decadent, soft, mould-ripened goat’s cheese enriched with cow’s cream. It is tricky to make well and nothing else as it is produced in the UK. When young, it has a subtle, fresh, creamy flavour and mousse-like texture, deepening to a full, rich flavour with earthy undertones when ripe.
We are very proud of Cremet’s 3-star accolade from the Great Taste Awards in 2023. Judges commented:
“This is so rich and creamy, it feels ridiculously indulgent – but who doesn’t need a bit of indulgence! This is a clever, expertly made soft cheese, in which you can really taste the goat’s cheese and the rich cream. The mould is minerally and flavourful, and the paste is so creamy that it melts in the mouth. One special aspect of this cheese is the peppery notes that come through right on the finish. This may be unique to this producer – congratulations on a very special cheese.”
Not available at the moment, but we are working hard to make more!
