Sharpham Cremet
Price range: £6.50 through £22.50
Sharpham Cremet is a decadent, soft, mould‑ripened goat’s‑milk cheese enriched with double cow’s cream, giving it a mousse‑like texture when young and developing rich earthiness as it matures. Officially launched in 2013 and created by Breton cheesemakers alongside Debbie Mumford’s imagination, Cremet is a true artisan rarity — tricky to make well, and unlike anything else produced in the UK. When young, it has a subtle, fresh, creamy flavour and a delicate mousse‑like texture; as it ripens, it deepens into a full, rich cheese with gentle earthy undertones.
