Delivery information

We aim to dispatch goods within 5 days of receiving your order. We will make every effort to deliver within the time stated on our website but we will not be liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery. If the original delivery date cannot be met, you will be contacted by Sharpham Dairy and offered the option to cancel your order.

Courier and costs

We use a national overnight courier service (DX). Our standard shipping charge is £7.00. We offer free delivery on all orders over £60.00. Please note that for the Channel Islands and Scottish Highlands, the shipping charge is £18.00. Free delivery over £60.00 for these areas does not apply.

Standard Delivery timings

Our standard delivery days are Tuesday to Friday – Please note: any orders placed after 1 p.m. on a Thursday will be delivered on Tuesday of the following week. 

Once your order is dispatched, you will be notified by email. We use an overnight courier service since we don't want the cheese in particular to be in transit any longer than that. Delivery to addresses other than England, Wales and lowland Scotland may take two days.

As you know, nothing is 100% (especially when it involves roads!), and very occasionally the 'overnight' service isn't. Generally, however, there's no problem and the cheese will arrive the next day as planned.

Deliveries to more than one address

The delivery charge only covers delivery to one address. If you want our products sending to more than one address, please place separate orders.


Cheese, in particular, needs to be delivered quickly. For this to be possible we need a few things from you:

An accurate delivery address – this is essential, and if an incorrect postal address is supplied we won't be responsible for any delivery problems which may follow. So it's worth taking a moment to make sure you've given us the right house number, postcode etc. And there should be someone in! So do think carefully about your delivery address.

During checkout, you can tell us a safe place where the delivery can be left – as a fail safe in case there is no-one in. Please try to keep your instructions simple, clear and brief. Please also note that if the package is left, it is at your own risk: the ideal situation is always a personal delivery address, whether this is home or workplace.

Missed Deliveries & Tracking Numbers

All online orders are delivered by our courier DPD on a next day basis from date of dispatch. Whilst every care is taken to ensure that your order is received in good condition, we cannot be held responsible for missed deliveries. If you would like your order to be delivered on a specific date please add this information in the notes section of the order form. If you require tracking information for your order please email us directly at with your order number.

Click & Collect

If you choose the Click & Collect option at check-out, orders placed before mid-day on Day 1 can be collected from the Sharpham shop after 11am on Day 2.

Orders placed after mid-day on Day 1 can be collected after 11am on Day 3.
