Cream cheese tea? Cheese Tea? Brie Tea? What would you call it? To mark the first day of Wimbledon (which always says ‘summer!’ to us), we’ve created a flipping lovely version of the classic.
We tried an oozing Sharpham Brie with our Smokey Red Pepper chutney on a home made cheese scone (packed with Rustic Chive & Garlic and fresh herbs and made by Nicky).
We also tried some Elmhirst for real cream authenticity. Younger and firmer but equally moreish!
Game, set and a match made in Devon heaven!
Nicky’s scone recipe is in our bio, and you can pick up both cheeses, and now our chutneys too, from @thecheeseshed in Bovey Tracy and @countrycheeses or on our website.
Brie Tea? Cheese Tea?
What on earth do you call a fresh herby Rustic cheese scone, topped with a ripe squidge of Sharpham Brie and finished with a dollop of our Smoky Red Pepper Chutney?
As it’s #Wimbledon fortnight we’ve given a cheesy twist to a #Devon classic!
