Sharpham Brie was inspired by Maurice Ash. Sharpham Brie is more of a Coulommier style cheese and has been hand-made to our own recipe at Sharpham since 1981. Being one of the first cheese makers to make this style in the UK. The beautiful buttercup yellow comes from using fresh cow’s milk from our Jersey herd, which grazes on the luscious Dartmoor pastures. It is a mould-ripened cheese, firm, rich, and creamy when young, softening with mushroomy notes and a chicory finish with age.
Available in different sizes, deli cut, and mini squares. Perfect for cheeseboards. We even make the brie in small hearts, which is a great way to say you are thinking of someone with cheese. The small brie, both square or heart is perfect for the top layers on a cheese wedding or celebration cake.
Due to high demand, we may replace our Sharpham Brie Squares with cut pieces at times, but the weight will be the same.
Large 1.2kg – Diameter 20 cm x Height 3.5cm

Sharpham brie is beautiful when baked, pivotal to a good cheese board. Pairing particularly well with our Ploughman’s Hunters Elmhirst Ale Chutney. The chutney compliments the rich and creaminess of the brie and its savoury aged flavour. If ale isn’t your thing, then you could try the Sharpham Caramelised Fig & Sharpham Pinot Noir Chutney The ripe figs in this help cut through the fatty richness of the creamy brie. Our favourite drinks partner is the light and fruity Sharpham Pinot Noir.
Pasteurised Jersey cow’s MILK, suitable for vegetarians.
