Tuesday 14 March saw Sharpham Dairy join fellow Food Drink Devon members in London. We shared the best of Devon produce and hospitality at the Houses of Parliament... and we were a huge success!
We visitied at the invitation of Anthony Mangnall, MP for Totnes and South Devon and Sharpham Dairy's local MP.
Our local food and drink champions, Food Drink Devon, working with Anthony, invited twenty of their members from around the county to showcase a delicious and balanced selection of produce which demonstrated the quality, sustainability, provenance and sheer breadth of food and drink available from our amazing Devon larder.
We were extremely proud to represent Devon at such a fabulous event. The spectacular Jubilee Room in The House of Commons was packed to the rafters for three hours and hundreds of MP, Peers, Westminster staff, members of the press and buyers enjoyed a feast. I don't think they'll forget us in a hurry.
