Working with our Devon friends at Highfield Preserves we have created a range of unique chutneys, jams, and marmalades, that combine elements from other artisan Devon producers to complement our artisan cheeses.
Highfield’s Preserves are a second-generation family-run business who have been producing its delicious preserves since 1984. Based in Willand in Devon they create small-batch chutneys, to ensure flavour and texture are just right. We at Sharpham are so happy to have teamed up with them to create our range of chutneys, marmalades, and jams, the perfect accompaniment for any cheeseboard, picnic, or use in cooking to help elevate a dish adding that boost of flavour.
Sharpham Red Onion Rosemary & Thyme Marmalade
This red onion and rosemary and thyme savoury marmalade is a twist on a favourite, the red onions are caramelised in soft brown sugar and balanced perfectly with balsamic and red wine vinegar. The herbs are handpicked, chopped, and added at the last minute for a savoury finish. This has a lovely dark golden colour with a reddy hue from the red onions and a wonderfully sticky texture.

PERFECT PAIRINGS:
Naturally, perfectly paired with cheese, or with cold meats and pork pies. Also adds extra flavour to roasted pork sausages or a dollop in your gravy for a Sunday roast adds something special. Below are our two favourite Sharpham cheese pairings. But we would be interested to know your thoughts.

well. The red onion with herb finish cut through the rich ripe
butteriness of the cheese.
