Sharpham Brie (V) (300g): Made here at Sharpham Dairy, Totnes, Devon. Inspired by Maurice Ash, Sharpham Brie is more of a Coulommier-style cheese and has been hand-made to our own recipe at Sharpham since 1981. Buttercup yellow with fresh milk from our Jersey cow’s herd, it is a mould-ripened cheese, firm, rich, and creamy when young, softening with mushroomy notes and a chicory finish with age.
Sharpham Rustic (V) (280g) is handcrafted in our Sharpham Dairy in Totnes, Devon. It is a semi-hard cheese made with Jersey cow’s milk. It has a refreshing light tang that delicately balances the richness of the milk and a lovely crumbly texture.
Sharpham Ticklemore Goat’s Cheese (280g) (V): Sharpham Ticklemore goat’s cheese is made from pasteurised Devon goat’s milk. It’s a semi-hard goat’s cheese with a beautiful stark white color, crumbly texture, and delicate subtle herbaceous hints on the palate.
Quicke’s Mature Clothbound Cheddar (P) (200g) is handcrafted using milk from Quicke’s grass-fed cows, clothbound and naturally matured, typically for 12-15 months. A rich and buttery cheddar that offers an outstanding depth of flavor, which develops as it reaches the back of the palate. Brothy to grassy to caramel notes. Make sure to cut from nose to rind so you taste the beauty in a natural rinded clothbound cheese.
Ticklemore’s Devon Blue (200g) (V) is made by Ben Harris in Totnes at Tickelmore Dairy, Devon. It is an unpressed, French-style blue cheese wrapped in foil to stop rind development. We sell it at four months old when it was flinty, minerally, and light with a subtle blue taste. This won a Super Gold at the World Cheese Awards in 2022-2023
The perfect pairing:
And a packet of delicious artisan Original Sourdough Crackers, handmade in Devon using organically grown wheat, rye, and oat grains. These are freshly milled to create fresh stone-ground flour. The flour and sourdough starter is combined with honey, olive oil, and sea salt and slowly baked to perfection, ensuring we get that incredible crack of the crispbread we all love. Our crispbreads aren’t uniform in shape or colour; each batch is individual. They’re great, piled high on a cheeseboard for people to share and crack to their desired size and shape before enjoying some delicious Artisan cheese.
Sandridge Barton, Sharpham Estate Selection is made from 100% Madeleine Angevine grapes. This grape, grown on the slopes of the South Hams in Devon, creates an English white wine that is a light and dry white wine that shows aromas of green apple, lemon zest gooseberry, and English meadow. The palate is very fresh and clean, with a citrus-driven acidity. 75cl and ABV 11.5%
You will receive five pieces (circa 1.2kg combined) of artisan cheese, individually wrapped and tasting notes for each, all boxed up in a recyclable branded Sharpham box and ready to go.
